Creative Cohesion West Midlands was formed in September 2015 as a community organisation to serve the disadvantaged communities. CCWM works and delivers projects within the creative, art, media and sports sectors and address under representation and accessibility for the local deprived communities

CCWM also works to improve health and wellbeing, enhances cultural relations and cohesion between communities through creative art form, community events and educational opportunities. CCWM works to support young people to access employment and training and supports families in parenting skills and responsibilities. CCWM has delivered programmes in Sandwell working The Deaf World, a local organisation to break barriers between deaf and non-deaf young people, delivered workshops with young people and parents on communication, team working, confidence and self-esteem and parenting skills. We have also created networks and had support from mainstream services on countering isolation and resources. CCWM has worked in Birmingham in supporting parents and young people to foster better understanding, created programmes to improve communication, parenting skills and positive activities.
